The Common Admission Test (CAT) is the most competitive MBA entrance test which leads to admission in top MBA colleges 20 IIMs in India and . CAT 2019 is expected to be held on November 24, 2019 and the candidates can expect the official notification on July 28, 2019 on the official website of CAT. The candidates can register themselves for the exam from August 5, 2019, onwards. About 2.41 lakh candidates competed for 12,411 seats last year. This nationwide CAT 2019 will be conducted in online mode in two sessions over 140 cities at over 4000 exam centres.

CAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria
- There is no age restriction for taking the CAT 2019 examination.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Candidates, who possess an equivalent examination recognized by the MHRD, Government of India (including AMICE of the Institution of Civil Engineers (India) as an equivalent qualification) can also apply.
- Candidates appearing in final year exam of Bachelor’s degree or waiting for their result are also eligible for CAT exam.
